Luck, what is luck & what is bad luck?

How do you differentiate between bad luck & good luck? 

If we look at how the Oxford Dictionary defines luck, according to it ” success or failure apparently brought by chance rather than through one’s own actions”. 

According to Wikipedia Luck is the phenomenon and belief that defines the experience of notably positive, negative, or improbable events. 

If we get deep down what is the meaning of luck. Luck is anything that happens by chance rather than by constant effort. So we have no control over our luck. So it is something that has a control on us, but we have no control over it.
