Well it is very sad that we do not give due respect to those who gave birth to us. It reminds me of the Quran, Allah says in it Humanity is ungrateful, and it fits best here. From the time immemorial. Women are not treated as par with men, but why? Is it a cultural practice like in India, where they are considered impure? Or something else. Lets find the answer.
From the ancient times, we find that women were not given due respect and dignity in society. For example Aristotle does not consider women even citizens.
